Exam # 2 will be on material discussed in classes 11- 21 and labs 4, 5, & 6.

(Note that classes 11 & 12 will be given to you before Test 1 but you will not be responsible for that material on Test 1.) Note also that you are not responsible for Units 4 & 5. They have been removed. Class 11: Unit 6, ch 1 & 2 (look at ch 3 on your own - you are responsible for it.) This class will be useful for lab # 5. Class 12: Unit 6, ch 2 & 4 do ch 2 Q1 & 2 and ch 4 Q2. This class will be useful for lab #4 Class 13: Unit 6, ch 4 (do Q8 & 9); ch 5 Class 14: Unit 6, ch 5 & 6 (do Q 1 & 5) Class 15: Unit 6, ch 7, 8, & 9 Class 16: Unit 6, ch 8, 9 & 10. Class 17: Unit 6, ch 8, 9 & 10 (We will discuss lab #6 as well.) (Look at ch 11, but not on exam.) Class 18: Unit 6, ch 12 Class 19: Unit 6, ch 12 & 13 Class 20: Unit 6, ch 13 Class 21: Lab #7 (See Unit 3, ch 5 questions for lab #7.), Unit 6, ch 15 (review) Laboratories 4 - 6: Lab 4: There is no quiz for this lab (no matter what day you have it) since you have test 1 this week. You will practice making graphs and look at the relationship between gas volume and gas temperature. This lab work relates closely to ch 4 in U6). Make sure you read the lab guide before coming to lab, so you know what to bring and come prepared. You need Lab Separate #371 from the spiral bound lab book. Lab 5: The lab focuses on the concept of pressure and is connected to Unit 6, ch 1 - 6. The lab quiz will be something on the gas laws (U6, ch 4) and graphing, so read Lab Sep #371. Lab 6: This lab focuses on the concept of relative atomic mass. It relates to Unit 6, ch 7, 8, 9. The lab quiz will ask you to describe something about Lab 6 as described in the Lab Guide, so please read and study it prior to coming to lab.
