DEMONSTRATIVOS
That = esse, essa, aquele, aquela, isso, aquilo. Those = esses, essas, aqueles, aquelas.
Como pronome demonstrativo adjetivo (precede o substantivo): This boy is writing. (Este menino est escrevendo) These books are mine. (Estes livros so meus) That girl is reading. (Aquela menina est lendo) Those children are playing. (Aquelas crianas esto brincando)
Como pronome demonstrativo substantivo (fica no lugar do substantivo): Who is this? (Quem este?) What is this? (Que isto?) These are the books he bought. (Estes so os livros que ele comprou) Do you agree to that? (Voc concorda com isso?) Whose are those? (Quem so aqueles?)

Os pronomes indefinidos so formados pelas palavras some, any e no. Significam algum, alguma, alguns, algumas, nenhum, nenhuma. SOME utilizado em frases afirmativas I have some books. = Eu tenho alguns livros. ANY utilizado em frases negativas e interrogativas Do you have any book? = Voc tem algum livro? I dont have any books. = Eu no tenho nenhum livro. NO utilizado em frases negativas I have no books. = Eu no tenho nenhum livro.
Adjetivos
Em ingls, os adjetivos ocorrem de forma diferente. Eles estaro sempre no singular, e aparecero nas frases antes dos substantivos, e nunca depois. Exemplos: He bought a new car. They have three new cars. She has a beautiful dog. She has beautiful dogs. As datas em Ingls consideram sempre primeiro o ms primeiro e depois o dia em nmeros ordinais. Fica assim: Que dia hoje? What day is today? Quando seu aniversrio? When is your birthday? Hoje dia 19 de setembro. Today is September 19th. Meu aniversrio no dia 3 de Maro. My birthday is on March 3rd.
Para falar as horas em Ingls usamos at o nmero 12. No existem horrios como 13:00, 14:00, etc. Para diferenciarmos manh e tarde utilizamos: 10
a.m. (anti meridien) = da meia-noite ao meio-dia. p.m. (post meridien) = do meio-dia meia-noite. Que horas so? What time is it? So 3 horas da tarde. Its 3 pm. Eu durmo s 10:00 da noite. I sleep at 10 p.m. TIME Its two oclock. Its five past two. Its a quarter past two. Its half past two. Its twenty to three. Its a quarter to three.

Para expressarmos nossa vontade, utilizamos o want: I want you to be here tomorrow. = Quero que vocs estejam aqui amanh.
Para expressarmos nossa vontade de maneira mais educada, utilizamos o woud like: She would like the secretary to send a fax. = Ela gostaria que a secretaria mandasse um fax. 17
Em casos mais cerimoniosos, utilizamos would you mind + verbo com ing: Would you mind helping me for the test? = Voc me ajudaria para a prova?

Assim como o can e o could, usamos o may para pedirmos algo (como permisso): Posso ir ao banheiro? = May I go to the bathroom? Tambm utilizamos o may e o might para falarmos sobre possibilidades: Ele pode estar atrasado. = He may be late. Ns podemos chegar mais cedo. = We might arrive earlier. 19
MUST
Utilizamos o must para falar de necessidades e obrigaes. Ele tambm pode ser substitudo pelo have to. Eu tenho que estar na escola s 7 horas. = I must be at school at 7 o clock. Eles tm que trabalhar nos finais de semana. = They have to work on weekends.
Will e Would
WILL
Usamos o will como auxiliar para indicar tempo futuro em ingls. Ele vai comprar um carro. Ns vamos para casa. Eu vou fazer um curso de ingls. Isso vai ficar caro. Vocs vo morar em Vinhedo? = He will buy a car. = We will go home. = I will take an English course. = It will be expensive. = Will you live in Vinhedo?
WOULD
O would utilizamos para indicar condies. Coisas que faramos, diramos, compraramos, etc., se alguma outra coisa acontecesse ou fosse verdade. Eu iria l, se no fosse to longe.= I would go there if it wasnt too far. Voc viria a minha festa? Eu ficaria feliz se voc fosse. = Would you come to my party? = I would be happy if you go. Eles comprariam aquela casa. = They would buy that house.

Podemos contrair o will e o would com os pronomes na fala cotidiana. Shall e Should
SHALL
O shall utilizado para expressar futuro como o will, e tambm para expressar um desejo ou uma ordem. Quando posso te ligar? Vamos v-lo em breve. Vamos? = When shall I call you? = We shall see him soon. = Shall we go?
Voc trar os livros da prxima vez. = You shall bring the books the next time.
SHOULD
O should utilizado como uma recomendao. Voc deveria estudar para a prova. = You should study for the test.
Eles deveriam comprar um carro novo. = They should buy a new car. O que eu deveria fazer? = What should I do?

Present Continuous
Utilizamos o Present Continuous para falar que uma ao est discorrendo no momento presente. Essa estrutura ser sempre composta do verbo To Be + um outro verbo seguido de ing. Exemplos: Ela est trabalhando naquela loja do centro. She is working in that store downtown. Eles esto indo para a escola de carro. They are going to the school by car. Os verbos com o ing seguem algumas regras: Verbos terminados em consoantes somente adicionam o ing: speak + ing = speaking; Ela est falando Ingls. She is speaking English. Verbos terminados em e perdem a ltima letra, e adiciona-se o ing: drive e + ing = driving;

Eles esto dirigindo at a escola. They are driving to school. Verbos terminados em consoante + vogal + consoante dobra-se a ltima consoante e adiciona-se o ing: begin (g+i+n) = beginning. A aula est comeando. The class is beginning.
Preposies
Usamos as preposies antes de determinados tipos de informaes, como as exemplificadas na tabela abaixo: Para... Lugares, hora, endereos completos. Para falarmos de frequncia em ingls, utilizamos as palavras abaixo: Uma vez Duas vezes Trs vezes Quatro vezes Com que frequncia voc vai escola? How often do you go to school?
