Anaphase: The paired centromeres in each chromosome start to move apart These separates the pairs of chromosomes (sister

sister chromatids) Spindle fibres elongate the cell These sister chromatids migrate centromere first to each end (pole)of the cell As the chromatids get nearer to the pole of the cell the kinetochore fibres shorten At the end of anaphase each end contains a complete compilation of chromosomes

Telophase The polar fibres continue to extend Nuclei begin to form at either each of the cell The remnant pieces of the parent cell and pieces of the endomembrane system form the nuclear envelopes of these nuclei Nucleoli reappear Chromatin fibres of the chromosomes uncoil At the end of telophase mitosis is mostly complete and the genetic contents of the cell has been divided in two.
