Sir:

Greetings from the Tarlac College of Agriculture!

The Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering students in cooperation with the

Department of Agricultural Engineering are planning to visit your plant office in Valenzuela,
Metro Manila on October 10, 2008 (Friday). The objectives of this visit are to: (1) familiarize
the students with new and different kinds/types of agricultural machineries developed by your
company; (2) expose the students and to give them ideas on the construction, assembly and
market of the machines; (3) expose them regarding the plant layout (i.e. office, fabrication,
stockroom area, etc.) and other Engineering aspect; and (4) to give them a clearer view on the
nature of job of Professional Agricultural Engineers with the private sector. With this kind of
activity, we believe that our students will gain more knowledge on Agricultural Engineering
application aside from the theoretical aspect learned from the classrooms.

With this regard, may we request your approval to allow us to visit the KATO
International, Inc plant office? We are hoping for your positive response on this matter. Thank
you and more power.

Very truly yours,
