New member of the group is Flavio Tossi. Gisela Detrell is back .

Alumni Association/Foundation
EUROAVIA aims at forging new connections and to uphold the current ones by improving its corporate relations with companies, universities or similar organizations. Main details: a. We need to ask congress b. we should finish up a good concept to present to Congress c. Choose between association / foundations. Foundations are fixed to a specific cause, associations can have a wider focus. d. EUROAVIA is registered under Dutch law, we have a separate foundation in EA Delft for symposiums and EYE is also registered as foundation. How the inner working of these foundations work is determined by the statues/bylaws. (FL Brauer needs to read into Dutch law what's better, from a legal viewpoint, a foundation or an association? ) e. Depending what we want to do, a foundation or association would make more sense f. We want to make the best for EUROAVIA, a strong alumni network that completes EUROAVIA. g. We need to "create" the alumni spirit. That is something we do not have right now. Alumni spirit comes with alumni gathering and events

h. Telling them they could stay in touch with others, and have good contacts, in case you need a job, hasn't worked so far, as we had expected i. The goal is to keep in contact both professional and personal and, is about giving back to EUROAVIA. But, why this cannot be fulfilled without a separate entity? J. About alumnus, there are only two options, statues are changed, or a separate association is created. In the first option if ever alumni wants to do sth and they are financially dependent it's quite pointless. The advantage of having a separate thing is that the ea and ea alumni are independent hence if the alumnus goes bankrupt it does not impact ea general. K. Alumni should pay to rent the EUROAVIA Label: so they will actually finance EUROAVIA. Rent could be dependent by alumni financial status.
