Provided IT consultancy and 2nd -3rd level support for a number of Hedge
funds including Pertrac, Telcoinvest and CEEPS.
Project managed, deployed a full SIP base hosted PBX system for Telstra
Europe in the UK. I was contracted as lead consultant working for a
NASDAQ listed software company namely Vistula Communications Inc
reporting to the board. I performed the actual due diligence on the Voip PBX
company in India which was acquired by Vistula Inc before introducing the
solution into Telstra ‘s VoIP Portfolio.
I have spent over 2 years in Telstra offices liaising with senior management
and engineering teams providing project management tasks such as setting
Key performance indicators and setting projected tasks/timescales with 3rd
level engineering team on the UK implementation of a Hosted PBX VoIP
system.
I have also worked for two investment companies namely Telco Solutions
LTD and NEPH on a number of projects based around office migrations and
setting up web portals for communication between investors and investment
company.
I have also supplied managed services consisting of windows and exchange
2000/2003 support and implementation for a number of SMES in the M25
belt over the past 5 years.
This meant that I had to plan and perform a migration from Windows NT
with Exchange 5.5 with many separate disparate domains to single active
directory model within Windows 2000 and exchange 2000 with a managed
VPN infrastructure to create an efficient network model for administration
and communication throughout the organisation.
This was one of the first international VPN deployments for any Pan-
European property development within the based in the UK. I worked
closely with UUNET who were responsible for the leased line circuits
between most of the offices.
Also developed WAN plan project for Global Switch data centres whilst at
