WORK EXPERIENCE

Managing Director

Building Synergie IT Solutions has allowed me to focus on my main areas


of expertise namely project managing and 3rd level network engineering
building large scale WAN/LAN networks. The role has been coupled with
providing consultancy services to Telco/financials companies based around
managing, deploying and troubleshooting LAN/WAN/VOIP/TDM
networks.

A list of projects are as follows:

Provided IT consultancy and 2nd -3rd level support for a number of Hedge
funds including Pertrac, Telcoinvest and CEEPS.

Project managed, deployed a full SIP base hosted PBX system for Telstra
Europe in the UK. I was contracted as lead consultant working for a
NASDAQ listed software company namely Vistula Communications Inc
reporting to the board. I performed the actual due diligence on the Voip PBX
company in India which was acquired by Vistula Inc before introducing the
solution into Telstra ‘s VoIP Portfolio.

I have spent over 2 years in Telstra offices liaising with senior management
and engineering teams providing project management tasks such as setting
Key performance indicators and setting projected tasks/timescales with 3rd
level engineering team on the UK implementation of a Hosted PBX VoIP
system.

I have provided security consultancy for KPMG ,doing ethical hacking at


Millfield Insurance, consisting of penetration testing and firewall hardening.

I have also worked for two investment companies namely Telco Solutions
LTD and NEPH on a number of projects based around office migrations and
setting up web portals for communication between investors and investment
company.
I have also supplied managed services consisting of windows and exchange
2000/2003 support and implementation for a number of SMES in the M25
belt over the past 5 years.

European Network Manager

At Global Switch I was responsible for redesigning and reconfiguring the


LAN and WAN network topology within the 7 European offices to reflect
that of the growing company.

This meant that I had to plan and perform a migration from Windows NT
with Exchange 5.5 with many separate disparate domains to single active
directory model within Windows 2000 and exchange 2000 with a managed
VPN infrastructure to create an efficient network model for administration
and communication throughout the organisation.

I also managed Network Security, Dial up Solution. Responsible for


Network deployment in Windows 2000 rollout, exchange mail migration.
Responsible for 3rd party liaison with IT suppliers and contractors.

June 1999 to April 2001 Trizechahn Europe PLC, London W1


IT Infrastructure Manager

Administered the European LAN and WAN infrastructure. Developed and


implemented VPN and dial-up solution through eight European offices. At
Trizechahn, I physically planned and implemented the European WAN
Model spanning 8 eight overseas offices based around a single set security
model using checkpoint FW1, Sonic wall and Cisco Pix firewalls coupled
with isakmp and DES encryption.

This was one of the first international VPN deployments for any Pan-
European property development within the based in the UK. I worked
closely with UUNET who were responsible for the leased line circuits
between most of the offices.

Also developed WAN plan project for Global Switch data centres whilst at
Trizechahn on a consultancy basis. Implemented IP security rollout in each
office. Responsible for 3rd party liaison with IT suppliers and contractors.
