Tasks you need to be able to complete: Determine the hypothesis when looking at graphs. Given a scientific question identify dependent and independent variable, write a hypothesis and draw a data table and graph. Analyze a data table and determine the problem being investigated, the different variables, the types of data, and write a hypothesis. Identify statements as observations or inferences when looking at a picture. Identify statements as qualitative and quantitative observations.
