-other 4 disagreeing states can create problems -laws that are advantageous to majority of the states can be passed -hard to make amendments, because 13 states hardly ever agreed on same ideas -no disputes over the changes -Congress would be in debt -Congress would be poor

Congress could request the states pay taxes, but they couldnt force them to pay. Congress could borrow money.

Congress possessed no power to control commerce foreign or domestic

-Rich people have the monopoly over certain goods

Congress could make treaties but had no power to require the states to follow them Congress could make laws but had no power to force the states to abide by them

-treaties will be more like recommendations -States were free from getting restricted

No National court system

-no justice -criminals wont get prosecuted
