Dear Chairman Obey and Ranking Member Lewis:

I am requesting funding for Dallas County Intake/Release Project in fiscal year 2010.

The entity to receive funding for this project is:

Dallas County Sheriff's Department
Frank Crowley Courts Building
133 North Industrial Boulevard
Dallas, TX 75207

The funding would be used for installing four Identifier stations at the Intake counter. Each
station will include a digital fingerprint capture device. Two Verifier stations will be installed
in the release area, and an additional two Verifier stations will be installed within the infirmary
for inmate/patient identification.
