Dear Mr. Chaitman:

I am requesting funding for the Massachusetts Initiative for Real-Time Wireless

Emergency Communications program in fiscal year 2010. The entity to receive funding
for this project is Converging Industries Research Foundation (CIRF), located at 64
Oxford Street, Suite 14 in Cambridge, MA 02138. The funding would be used for
commercial development of emergency communication networks for citizens and first
responders . I certify that neither I nor my spouse has any financial interest in this project.
