Dear Chairman Obey and Ranking Member Lewis:

I am requesting funding for Homelessness and Domestic Violence Services in

fiscal year 2010 .

The entity to receive funding for this project is:

Homestretch, Inc. .
370 South Washington Street
Falls Church, VA 22046

The funding would be used to allow Homestretch to provide housing and

supportive services to homeless mothers and children, at least half of which are
homeless due principally to domestic violence or human trafficking . This funding
will have a profound impact on the ability of Homestretch to continue to serve
and meet the needs of an expanding homeless population in Fairfax County and
Falls Church .
