The top of the modern technology development in marine industries in east Sabah can see after the independence of Sabah. After the trawl machinery introduced as one of the most efficient commercial marine sector in 1960th, this industry rapidly developed with inclusion of technology. The purse-seines also used as a fishery commercial. It is proved with the revenue of the marine fishing landing in east coast on 80th century which is monopolized by both fishery machines. After this technology fully applied in this marine sector, it’s started to come out with a lot of problem to the marine ecosystem structure and tradition fishermen. Sufficiently large destruction effect on this marine origin no matter spesis fish or sea bed ecosystem increasingly is felt nowadays. All this comes from the intrusion activity by the trawler in seaboard area and coral reefs. The same also with the purse-seines activity caused the destroyed of the fish sources with large number. The community of tradition fishermen was the most damage group resulting the decrease in the income because of the declining in they productivity. The reality is the fishermen life’s continuously to be isolated without defending by the local government party. The future of the marines sources also put in danger if the intrusion of trawling activity working interminable. This is become more bad when the uncontrolled operation of purse-seines caused the destroyed and end the existence of fish sources which is the bollard to the local fishermen economic.
