The inspection cart allows optimum inspection of the laying hens on each tier
The inspection cart designed by Big Dutchman allows optimum inspection and control of the hens from tier 1 to 5 of a cage system. The inspection cart runs on the container guide rail and can be adjusted to different heights by variable rim holders. The brake will stop the inspection cart at any desired place. For inspection of ) the first tier, sit on the lower platform ) the third tier, stand on the lower platform and ) the fourth and fifth tier, stand on the upper platform.

Inspection cart for cage systems up to 4 tiers

According to the requirements of 3 section 3 in connection with 5 section 2 of the layer management regulations in Lower Saxony (the most densely populated livestock area in Germany) for new houses and reconstructions, an additional auxiliary equipment is required to ensure inspection of both the lower and upper cage rows. This technical device has to be designed so that both hands can be used for removing, when necessary, sick or injured birds from a secure sitting or standing position.
