So, why would i choose this picture a a cover page spread of my school magazine?

Well while investigating what students of all genders and age ranges wanted to read, I came out with a result that the majority would rather read sport. This picture was taken after the school and a few students won some sports events. This will appeal to my target audience because in this picture we see there is a wide age range varying from year 7-12/13. This works because it will engage the reader to continue reading on and there for both keeping the reader up to date, entertained and informed of what the school has to offer. It will also help publicise the school to external students as they may feel they want to be a part of something like this but may not have the opportunity or chance to. Their also a sense of pride in this picture because it shows whatever, size, age, race you can still fulfil what you want, after all sports does unite us all, the 2012 Olympics proves that it does unite us all. This would also be good because it is an original picture of students that attend or formally attended the school so its more original.

This picture would make a good cover page because it would make the reader want to continue reading this article. Mostly because of that intriguing reward, many would be interested in how that reward was won. This would appeal to my target audience which is generally boys because the majority of boys attend my school are really into sports so would like to keep updated with it.

This was taken during children in needs non uniform day. Although it isnt a typical convention of a topic people would read about its a change. You can just see headlines such as non uniform days success on the front. This would appeal to our target audience because they can put themselves in the position of the people in the picture seeing as they were a part of it so it makes them feel a part of something bigger.
