    Essential Job Functions

    Prepare clear, complete, and accurate assembly and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or 3D models for engineering or manufacturing purposes.
    Uses 3D CAD software, AutoDesk Inventor, to provide support to Engineers by preparing plumbing diagrams, detailed drawings, and exploded assembly drawings with accurate BOM's. Makes simple decisions but refers most questions/problems to Engineers. Make final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimensions of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole product assembly. Makes adjustments or changes as directed by engineer.. Visually compare design of component, or other equipment with drawing of parts, matching coordinating points for accuracy of fit.

    Required Qualifications
    Minimum 2 yr associates degree

    Ability to apply basic GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards to all drawings.
    Minimum of 2 yrs of 3D CAD drafting experience (Inventor, SolidWorks, Pro/E, etc;) Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations. Strong written, verbal, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.
