Reflection:
My progress during this semester is: During this semester I have learned how to throw a Frisbee two different ways: back hand and fore hand. It took a while to master the forehand, because it required a good flick from the wrist, but in the end, we all got pretty good at throwing the Frisbee. Our main unit was the invasion games but we didnt spend much time of this subject. I also learned how to be a goalie for soccer, it was painful, but you must at all costs keep the soccer ball from entering the goal. Depending on how good of a goalie you are, you may or may not win. One of my previous goals that I had set for myself was to go to NECIS for one sport, and that did happen. I made it into the Cross Country team at ISD, but sadly I didnt place in the first 3 places. I feel that I have learned a lot in a short period of time. I think one major thing that I have improved in my progress is how to work as a team. Teams require work from every one, and even though it may be hard, the results pay off in the end. In ultimate Frisbee, you need to learn how to defend your team and also how to be

on offensive if the odds have changed. It was a great opportunity working with all my classmates during this one unit. I hope all the other units will be as fun as the invasion game unit! My target(s) for the next semester are/is: For the next semester, my goals are to continue to be positive and every class and to also appreciate what I am being given. I will always try my best, even when I am not very good at one subject. I should always be supportive of my classmates even when I am feeling bad myself. It would also be great if I could always help in any way that I can, making sure that I am doing my best that I can do. I am looking forward to this unit and I will have a lot of fun, because I will always have fun. One other goal that I really want to make is, track and field NECIS, although it is a long time away, I really want to make this great opportunity come true. This is one of my biggest goals! A final goal that I am setting for myself this year is to be able to beat all my fitness testing time and strength wise. I want to build up my stamina, strength, accuracy, and also speed. One big thing that I really am working on is to be able to beat my alternate hand wall toss. The first time I ever did it, I got a score of 18. I hope that by the second time we do this test, I can at least get 25 or more!!
