LegislativeBranch:Polands legislativebranchismadeupofa 2chamberParliament.Theupper houseiscalledtheSenateand contains100members.Thelower houseiscalledtheSejmand consistsof460members.Each memberisupforelectionevery4 years.

PresidentofPoland
TheexecutivebranchofPolandconsistsoftwoheads:thepresident andtheprimeminister.ThepresidentofPolandiselectedviapopular vote.He/shecanserveforamaximumoftwo5yearterms.The presidentisheadofstateandinchargeoftheArmedForces.The presidentcanvetolegislationbutservesmoreasarepresentative.The presidentappointsimportantgovernmentleaders,includingthePrime Minister.

JudicialBranch:isthemostlimited ofallPolishbranchesofgovt.It consistsof4courts:theSupreme CourtofPoland,thecommon courts,theadministrativecourts, andthemilitarycourts.

PrimeMinisterofPoland
ThePrimeMinisteristheotherleaderofPolandsexecutivebranch. AppointedbythePresident,thePrimeMinisterproposesandrunsthe cabinetofPolandsgovernment.Inmanyways,thePrimeMinisteracts asheadofthePolishgovernmentandisresponsibleforsubmittingnew governmentplansandpoliciestothePolishParliament.
