PRESERVICE TEACHER'S REFLECTIVE RESPONSE

During this placement Catherine Blaney showed great trust in allowing me to develop a full unit using the Australian Curriculum and International Baccalaureate Middle Year program and deliver the content. I was able to develop rubics, tests and Inquiry based assessments based on the curriculum, which I then documented. I felt that during this placement I improved my classroom management through a wide range of management techniques and a greater knowledge of my students and how they learn. I was able to be involved in the school community through a wide variety of activities, and was able to teach a wide variety of subjects, not just my methods but also Maths and Textiles.
