Abstract:

Online Student and Campus Monitoring System

The project aimed at creating a web based software for managing the placement process in colleges and helping the student and placement in charges save loads of valuable time. it makes the process less cumbersome and totally computerized ensuring clear transparency. A online student and campus Monitoring System is a software application for educational establishments to manage student data online. Our online student and campus Monitoring System provides capabilities for entering student demographic information, test results and other assessment scores, building student schedules, tracking student attendance, and managing other day to day student-related data needs in a school, college or university. Campus monitoring helps the students to get the placement in the right company. Companies will be registered under the college administration to help the students. Companies data and the accuracy will be maintained by the administrators of online student and campus monitoring system. Colleges that use our placement management system no longer need to work with Excel Sheets and do any kind of redundant work. List compilation is now a one click process and it is highly convenient for both the students and the placement in charges. Analysis:
Problem Definition: Now a day, Student joins the college for the placement as well as for better training for their future. But there is manual training has going on there might be lot of problem student as well as placement manager has to face. Placement Manager has to take the resume manually from the student that one burden maintaining the paper work. If any student got call for Interview placement manager has to inform to the student. Proposed System: In order to avoid above existing problem we are design existing system as online Training and Placement system, so the whatever the information placement manager has to pass to the student he/she can inform online. All the resume send by the student which can be

maintain in the database and if any interview call placement manager got he/she can inform through mail to every student. Functional components of the project: Following is a list of functionalities of the system. More functionality that you find appropriate can be added to this list. And, in places where the description of functionality is not adequate, you can make appropriate assumptions and proceed. 1. A person should be able to Access/ Search CVs/information from the first page (only read access). login to the system through the first page of the application change the password after logging into the system Upload his/her CV. See/change his/her details. Get help about the application on how to use the different features of the system.

2. An admin login should be present who can read as well as remove any uploads. Preferably it should be given to the TPO. Advantages over Existing System The proposed system is automated that is faster than the existing manually maintained system and can handle data easily. Computerization of the details of the members and placement operations. The System allow administrator to control all the activities hence identifying the roles and accessibility of other users. Accurate information can be generated easily and quickly at different levels. Report can be generated easily and quickly.

Admin users - Has full access to all the modules of this system. Responsible for creating, modifying and deleting a member and training and

placement operations, admin can view the training and placement operations list and also generate the reports Student Users Has restricted access. i.e., Normal users have access to some of the modules only i.e. user can view the placements, and can post a query to the admin regarding any placement or training, search for different trainings, and can send mails to the admin regarding any issue related to the training and placements
Company : Company have maximum rights but they are also restricted to some extent by the admin. They can view training and placements list and search for any trainings in the list, send mails to the admin and can reserve a training in advance.
