Criterion C Performance DEVELOPING 1-2 SERVE Rarely serve in. Very little control of power or accuracy. Always use one hand. Occasionally plays ball up or over net.

SATISFACTO RY 3-5 Generally serves in. Able to direct serve to specific area. Can perform each shot. Usually plays ball up or over net. Cooperates with and encourages others. Beginning to understand positions. 2-3

ABOVE SATISFACTORY 5-7 Overhead Serve: Always serves in. Good control of direction and power. Can select targets. Can perform each shot effectively. Often hits ball up over net. Good positioning and uses accurate shots. Very cooperative. Plays own position, sets ball for others to hit. Encourages and supports others. 4-5

HIGH ACHIEVEMENT 8-10 Overhead/Jump serves. Very good control of power and accurate direction. Able to vary speed and targets. Can perform each shot effectively and shows good techniques for each shot. Usually hits ball up or over net. Confident and aggressive at the net. Excellent positioning. Very cooperative and shows leadership qualities. Encourages others and often tries to implement team plans. 6-7

Student Comments: Positives I can hit the ball upwards and sometimes I am able to pass it to my teammates accurately Negatives I rarely get a serve into the opponents place and my hand sometimes is not straight Improvements I want to improve on my serving by making my hand straight when I serve and also Northbridge International School - Cambodia putting more strength into it.
