1. At the August meeting we decided to invest $6000 on a cost sharing basis with the district (theyll pay $6000) to purchase 35 Windows Surface RT computers with keyboards and a plug in cart. These will be used exclusively by the Integrated Studies and Global Perspectives classes for this year. 2. We also decided to pay for three teachers to attend a three day conference at High Tech High in San Diego on project based learning at an approximate cost of 1800 dollars per person ($5400 total). The district will pay for an additional two teachers and Andrew to go assuming theres not CUPE job action. 3. At the September meeting we decided to send Sheryl, Tammie, June because theyre running the IS pilot, Sylvia because as librarian she is able to support inquiry based learning school wide, and Edmund because he won the lottery
