Special conditions
Applicants must open a driving test file with the Traffic & Licensing Department before coming to Emirates Driving C ompany. To open a light vehicle training file, the applicant needs to be 18 years old or above. Applicants between 17 and 18 years old holding an Abu Dhabi residence visa will, after providing a written consent from their parents or representatives, have an under age training card issued by the Emirates Driving C ompany, which allows them to attend the light vehicle theory course. The light vehicle orientation course is available to a specific category. Trainees can have an intensive theory booking of up to 4 classes per day for an additional fee of AED 100.
