My key strengths are Adaptability, Deliberative, Developer, Strategic and Arranger. These five strengths would make be a good fit in a sales rep role because I can be adaptable of each clients needs wants. My adaptability will allow me to respond to the problem at hand (if any) and allow me to find a quick solution. My Developer strength may not help me in a sales rep role in 5 years but may help me in a sales manager role later on because I will be in charge of overseeing a sales team where my Developer strength can be utilized to help the sales staff below me develop their own strengths or their weaknesses to the point where they become a strength. My Strategic skills will help me as a sales rep to find the best route to make a sale. Each client has their own set of specific wants and needs, a Strategic skillset will allow me to identify those needs and develop a strategy to make the sale. Arranger skills would help my role as a sales rep because it allows me to prioritize any factors or variables on any given day, which will allow me to be more productive when taking care of the task at hand.

The personality type has shown that I have a high acceptance of responsibility and my willingness to compete is moderate, what I do lack is time management skills. In a sales rep role a willingness to compete is a must ! ;!

! because your numbers reflect on how well you succeed. The harder I compete, better I will succeed. My main weakness is time management skills. Meaning I usually dont allocate the proper time for the task at hand. This will be a hindrance, as sales reps need solid time management skills as a lot of time is spent on the road developing existing relationships and building new ones. As a result I will need to work hard and hone these skills in order be a good fit in a sales rep role.

! My Values will help me succeed as a sales rep. As a sales rep a lot of time is spent is on the road, visiting clients as a result being able to work independently to meet sales quotas is a must. No sales rep is successful without a support system. Most reps have a support system when selling various products, pricing, sometimes a question may arise that a rep does not have the answer to, their support system is where they go to find the answer. Achievement is essential to a reps success. The more sales they make directly reflects on performance, if a rep works hard to surpass the goals set forth by the company, the company recognizes the achievement and it could lead to a promotion within the company or direct compensation for surpassing the goals.

My Conventional and Enterprising interests would make me a good fit as a sales rep because independent sales reps are often looking for new companies to sell products for. As a result there may be various startup costs when bringing in a new company (ie. purchasing samples if not given). My conventional interests would make me a good fit at a sales independent rep because there will be times where managing data is a must, such as orders, client database etc. As a result it would be something I enjoy doing instead of a chore.

In conclusion I would be a great fit as an independent sales rep because I value independence and achievement, which is a trait many sales reps need. My adaptability and strategic skills will allow me to be versatile depending on individual client wants and needs. And my level of competitiveness will drive me to exceed expected sales quotas and standards.
