Childhood
leonardos childhood was made up of personal doubts and family uncertainties. He did everything in his power to ensure that he was never forgotten and never ignored. As he was growing up he was never corrected on his habit of writing backwards. Historians think that he wrote backwards to protect his work from people that would try and steal It from him.

Introduced to art
leonardos father introduced his to verrocchio, who was the best artist in Vinci. Verrocchio made Leonardo his apprentice. Leonardo looked up to him as a role model and a good inspiration. To practice his sculpting and paintings he would work on self-portraits. Verrocchio helped Leonardo paint the baptism of Christ, the annunciation of Mary, and the Lorenzo di credo

LEONARDO Travelled to Hungary on behalf of his partner ludovico to meet Matthias corvius. He was to meet Matthias because Matthias had a painting of the holy family. His painting of the holy family mattered because Leonardo would base his other paintings on the holy family.

At this time period Leonardo was working for pope Leo x Leonardo spent most of his time living at the Vatican in Rome. Also at this time Raphael and Michelangelo were both living in the Vatican like Leonardo. Raphael and Michelangelo were both painters just in case you did not know.
