!hat comprises educational technology and the pro"essional standards associated !ith it$ my pro"essional re4uirement and responsi)ilities related to technology$ learning theories and their impact on implementation o" educational technology$ social' ethical' and legal issues associated !ith technology$ ho! to use technology in a manner that ensures my students+ sa"ety$ emerging technologies that !ill a""ect education in the "uture$ o" the !ays technology !ill help me to engage in li"elong learning and pro"essional development$

I have learned a great deal a)out technology and the classroom over the past si* !ee&s$ There are so many di""erent types o" technology and so"t!are that is a)le to )ene"it every learning style and most challenges that learner+s "ace$ Technology can and has made an enormous impact on ho! teachers educate their students' plus it can ma&e it more en6oya)le "or the students$ It ma&es learning easy !hen the students can relate to the activities and have "un doing it$ EndB E*plain !hy your ideas changed or didn+t change as a result o" this class$
I have learned a lot o" in"ormation in this class$ I "eel more com"orta)le a)out using computers in the classroom$ 2t "irst' I admit I !as a little s&eptical a)out technology and children' )ut no! that I &no! that it is not all )ad$ I )elieve that it is something I !ill en6oy using !ith students$ Technology can give teachers the po!er to help their students e*plore ne! places o" learning$

Still a little s&etchy on the learner#centered strategies and assessing student progress' )ut I have gained more tips on addressing special needs and diversity in the classroom$ Technology is )ene"icial to students !ith special needs' due to the "act that there is so many resources that can help teachers provide learning in a !ay that is appropriate "or each individual student$ There are programs and devices that can help students' such asB simple te*t' te*t#to#speech' Didspiration' I(oo&' co#!riter' and 5indo!s to the Universe$ There are also multilingual programs that help students !ith an English )arrier$ EndB E*plain !hy your ideas changed or didn+t change as a result o" this class$
I "eel that I have grasped the concept o" the ma6ority o" the tools that has )een presented in this class$ Using 5ord' E*cel' and 0u)lisher has )een a help"ul in the )ul& o" my classes and no! I "eel more com"orta)le using these programs$ I li&ed using them )e"ore and mainly sel"#taught mysel" on most so"t!are programs$ 3o!' I have a )etter understanding and &no! ho! to utili9e these programs to their "ull potential$

I am still not com"orta)le !ith some o" the programming so"t!are that is )eing used in the classrooms$ 2lthough' I do really en6oy Diigo and it has )een )ene"icial "or me !hen I am !or&ing on research$ Inspiration 7 !as a little more di""icult' )ut I "inally got it "igured out and it is "airly simple to use$ I li&e the programs that I have used so "ar? sometimes I 6ust have trou)le getting them started$ EndB E*plain !hy your ideas changed or didn+t change as a result o" this class$
I have )ecome more "amiliar !ith instructional plans and ho! I can use them !ith technology$ Technology has so many use"ul programs to help instructional planning$ Using 5ord to ma&e a ru)ric "or grading !as ne! "or me? normally' I !ould have used E*cel$ I )elieve that it !as much easier to !or& !ith 5ord verses E*cel$ I did not have to constantly &eep moving things around until it loo&ed the !ay I !anted it to$ I have truly en6oyed this class and I have learned a tremendous amount a)out technology$
