How to configure your HW550-3G Wireless Security

1. Connect the power adapters on the Aztech HW550-3G then turn ON the device. 2. At the back of your computer look for the ethernet port, connect an ethernet cable to your computers ethernet port then connect the other end of the cable to the Aztech HW550-3Gs LAN port. 3. On your computer open your Internet browser then type 192.168.2.1.

4. Authentication page will pop-up, type admin for the username and admin for the password then click OK.

5. This will open the HW550-3Gs Web User Interface, Go to Wizard to setup your router. 6. Under Wizard Page click Next to proceed with the setup.

7. Select the Time Zone from the drop down box then click Next.

8. Under Internet Connection Type page, select the Internet Connection Type that you would like to use then click Next.

9. Under WAN, set the Connection Method that you would like to use and click Next to proceed to the next step.

10. Under Wireless Setting enter the necessary information then click Next. Wireless Enabled tick the box to Enable Wireles Connection. Broadcast SSID tick the box broadcast your wireless Network Name. SSID Enter the Wireless Name of your Router into the SSID field. WPA Enabled tick the box to secure your Wireless network. Passphrase enter the password that you would like to use on the required field.

11. Under Summary page confirm all the settings that will be loaded into the router. If the information are correct click Apply for the settings to take effect.

12. Once youre done with the Wireless settings and configuration on your Aztech HW550-3G connect to your Aztech HW550-3G using your Wireless client. 13. Using your wireless clients utility, search and select your Aztech HW550-3G Wireless SSID then connect via wireless. 14. If it prompts to enter the Wireless Password, type in the password that you set on your Aztech HW550-3G.
