Materials (will be given to you): Place Value Chart Multiplication Chart Word Problems Guide Description: We will learn about decimal and fractions and their relationships to the whole. Goals: To understand how to find multi digit numbers and find common factors and multiples. To build and further understanding of fraction equivalence and ordering fractions. To build an understanding of decimal notation for fractions, and compare decimal fractions. To use equivalent fractions as strategy to add and subtract fractions. Gain a deeper understanding of word problems and how to solve the problems strategically.
Requirements: Students will be required to complete daily math drills, homework, and class assignments. Resources: Class Weebly-this site will have an updated list of assignments and links to helpful videos and information. Our class website is www.p2math.weebly.com Evaluation: Students will be evaluated by their attendance and also through their performance on class assignments, homework, and quizzes/tests. Students will receive a progress report at the end of cycle. Please meet with me individually if you are concerned about your performance in class.
