Product Improvement Bulletin

In order to increase oil flow through the brake clutch assembly, BRADEN has made some design changes to the CH240A planetary hoist. Two minor changes are responsible for the improved oil flow: (1) an increase in the oil capacity and (2) an addition of oil passages in the piston plate (24438), the primary sun gear (29591), and the bearing support extension (29880) (models with the -2 drum only).

UNITS EFFECTED: All CH240 models. STEP FOR 1) Increase oil capacity from 48 pints to 54 pints. IMPLEMENTATION: Increase oil capacity from 90 pints to 100 pints. PARTS EFFECTED:
