    To Find Out Materials That Absorb Water

    Dip each object one at a time into a bowl of water for one minute.

    ITEM/MATERIAL

    SPONGE
    PLASTIC BAG

    TISSUE PAPER
    COTTON WOOL
    CLOTHES PEG
    MARBLES
    CLOTH

    Take out the object and squeeze it

    Does the water come out when the object is squeezed?

    Record the observations in the table.
