Ministry Formation Center

Basic faith formation is an essential step in developing ourselves as proclaimers of the message of Jesus Christ. It is our belief that those who serve in ministry deserve to be nurtured and fed as mature Christian adults in their own faith. Experience shows they are then better able to minister more effectively. Ministry Formation Centers explore key areas of Catholic Doctrine, tradition, and faith. They are conducted in a manner and environment appropriate for adults seeking to explore and deepen both their understanding of their faith and their relationship with God. These sessions are particularly suited for catechists working with any age group, as they enhance knowledge of our faith and our church, while enriching our personal faith and developing skills to become a more effective catechist. If you are pursuing certification as a Catechist (Early Childhood through Adult), Youth Ministry and Confirmation Team Member, Initiation Team Member, or a Liturgical Minister this course satisfies the basic requirements of the Theological Phase toward certification. Adults seeking personal enrichment in their faith lives are most welcome to participate.
