separateregionalunitsatthesouthofSerbia(KosovoandLab)whicharenowadayswithinad
ministrativebordersoftheprovinceKosovoandMetohija.
AsthematerialsaboutKosovowerepublishedinDescriptionofthevoyageofSloveniange
ographersandethnographers(Belgrade193?,inSerbianandFrench),thistimewearepublis
hing materials from Lab about Podujevo, which is the only one studied in this area, together
withitssmallerpartsandvillageparts.
Anthropgeographical materials about Podujevo in 1929haveexactdataaboutsettlers,na
mesandsurnamesofhosts,placeoforigin,infactplaceswheretheycamefromandwaysofget
tingtheirpropertyintheeightsmallerpartsofPodujevo,whereasthenumberofAlbanianhou
seholdswasstated.Atthesametime,forthetownofPodujevoanditssmallerparts,therewas
theseparatelistofalltheinhabitants:previouslyinhabitedAlbanians(calledArnauti)andin
habitedSerbs,withallthedataabouttimeandplacewheretheycamefrom,theirpropertyand
profession.
ThecentreofthecommunitywasPodujevo,anddataaboutstateinstitutions,schoolscom
munities were given economy was shown through prices of thecattleduringmarketdaysand
communityincomefortheperiod19201929.TherearedataaboutChurchStPatronsDaysand
Village St Patrons Days in Podujevo and its participants from the wider surrounding of the
