Specifying Learning Objectives: Be clear about the certain goals you want the students to learn by using organized bodies of knowledge or task specialization. -Prepare Study Guides: Students should use graphic organizers to organize their information they will be learning. The internet and their textbook will be sources they use. -Formatting Student Teams: Teams of students are formed ranging from cultural background, achievement levels, and gender. -Supplementing Expert Presentations: Student experts will present the information they have learned to the students

-Assigning Experts: Students are assigned a subsection of the material to study in depth -Information Gathering: Experts gather information on their topic in great depth. -Expert Meetings: Experts discuss and prepare presentations of the material they were assigned to. -Peer Instruction: Experts present their information -Review and Closure: Information is summarized and reviewed
