Intro- presents, explains and models the skills or applications of concepts, principles, generalizations, and rules and provide for guided practice. Team Study- allows students to practice new concepts and receive feedback from group members; monitor groups and intervene when necessary, call attention to productive groups.

Improvement Points- do not penalize top students, do not distort students actual level of achievement Observing Group Work- make students aware of their interactions in groups and how these interactions affect their learning
