Halliday Cover Memo I chose this article because it describes one of the many psychological processes that relate to forensics. Being a psych major, things like memory reconstruction really interest me and so it was easy to find an article on the subject that was interesting to read. Not only that, I really enjoy reading about court cases and things that pertain to forensics. I am really passionate about psychology and forensics so I want to pick something that would incorporate the two. By reading this particular article, I learned more about my specific academic discourse and it made me even more certain that this is the career I wish to pursue in graduate school. Hopefully in the years to come, I can learn more about things like these and become a successful forensic psychologist. I wish to continue expanding my knowledge about the court system and use what I know to bring justice into the court of law. In general, this unit helped me learn more about the discourse community that I am working my way to become a part of and has also helped me further my abilities in research and writing research papers. This will prove helpful in the future since I will need to do a lot of research in graduate school and the more I can practice now, the better the outcome will be in the future. I would like to be able to conduct experiments like the ones mentioned in Brainerds article and testify as an expert witness in court and this

project helped me learn how to properly analyze and follow a specific set of guidelines which is what I will have to do in my future career.
