After Jesus identified all twelve, he very quickly moved into an intense time of investing into their lives.

He spent time with them. He taught them. He nurtured them. [He confronted, motivated, rebuked, and inspired them.] Then months later, when he knew the time was right, he moved into the third phase of leadership development. He entrusted them with real ministry responsibility and coached them into effectiveness. (Bill Hybels: Courageous Leadership; 127) Potential Leaders: (top-five list) influence, character, people skills, drive, intelligence Phase 1: Draw up my own top-five quality list Contextualized for the Hub, for SJ, and for their schools of influence Phase 2: Invest in emerging leaders Teach them their own gifts Teach them their spiritual gifts help them take spiritual gift assessments Create assessments interview documents, personality assessments This will provide an avenue for individual discussion with my guys Merge Times Phase 3: Entrust emerging leaders with responsibility Develop a form of advertizing and networking within schools; have them help in lunch outreaches Short missions within Jackson: shelter, outreach other ideas? Learning servanthood: washing the toilets at the Hub, sweeping (have them do something humble at least once so they are exposed Westwinds, Make a Difference etc: What are they already doing? What could youth plug into which is already taking place instead of having to create ministries from scratch? Individuals (Gifts, Passion-calling, Style of leadership)
