Standards can help plan out objectives for the lesson. -Structure Content: All forms of content must be well organized in order to promote a clear understanding. -Prepare Lesson Introductions: Attracts and maintains the attention of the class and is important because organized bodies of knowledge are broad and have different forms.

-Review and Introduction: The teacher reviews previous topics and presents additional questions that can provide further focus on the lesson -Presentation: Students are presented with information that is part of the organized body of knowledge. -Comprehension: Questions are asked to the students to informally assess their understanding -Integration: Additional information is presented along with questions to help them integrate new information with previous information. -Closure: Teacher guides the students to review and summarize the information in the lesson.
