2 Terms of references A lecturer from Akademi Pengajian Bahasa UiTM Sarawak, Puan Azlina Ghazali, instructed Bushro Binti Abd Halim, Nor Balqis Binti Shafie, Mas Athira Binti Johari and Anis Syafiqah Binti Ayob from the Faculty of Applied Sciences to conduct a research and complete a report on fast food consumption phenomenon among students in UITM Sarawak. The report includes the background information of apa? and detailed statistical data with findings and need to be submitted together with recommendations on 6th December 2013. 1.3 Objectives of the study The main purpose of this project is to study the fast food consumption among students in UiTM Sarawak. This can be subdivided into 4 different aspects. Firstly, to identify the most popular fast food restaurant preferred by the UiTM Sarawak students. Secondly, to identify the most popular fast food category consumed by the UiTM Sarawak students. Thirdly, to examine the time preferred by UiTM Sarawak students to consume the fast food. Lastly, to identify the reasons for the Uitm Sarawak students to consume fast food. 1.4 Scope of the study This study primarily targets the students who are studying in UiTM Sarawak and it involves the opinion and thoughts of people who are most likely prefer to eat fast food. This study involves students of degree level from different courses. We conducted our study by randomly distributed the questionnaire on the fast food consumption for 100 students.

2.0 Methodology Only one method was used to collect data: 2.1 Questionnaire

100 sets of questionnaire were distributed randomly to the students of degree level from different courses in UiTM Sarawak. The questionnaire aimed to investigate the most popular fast food restaurant preferred by the UiTM Sarawak students. Secondly, to identify the most popular fast food category consumed by the UiTM Sarawak students. Thirdly, to examine the time preferred by UiTM Sarawak students to consume the fast food. Lastly, to identify the reasons for the Uitm Sarawak students to consume fast food. After the questionnaire was completed, the answer and all the information were collected. The data was tabulated into a pie chart. The pie chart of percentage for every aspect in the finding was done.
