For people caught using tobacco: 1st offenders given a warning 2nd offenders- $25

Health Issues
126 million nonsmoking Americans are exposed to second hand smoke each year 50,000 of those nonsmoking Americans are killed each year by exposure to second hand smoke Over a third of the American population is exposed to second hand smoke Cigarettes contain many carcinogens that are harmful to the body

Environmental Issues
Cigarette butts are not biodegradable . Harmful to animals who swallow the cigarette butt Cigarette butts are the most littered item in America Half a million acres per year are being destroyed for tobacco crops being planted

3rd offenders- $100

All fines charged to student bursar account

Changes to School:

All ashtrays removed

No smoking signs posted on every building

You can only smoke off campus
