User Manual for Windows 7

1. From the Windows 7 desktop, click on the wireless icon and connect to IIUMRegistration (make sure you have switched on your wireless function) 2. Key in network security key iiumwifi.

3. Launch your Internet browser and you will get to the above landing page.

4. Click on the Start QuickConnect button

5. Click the Next button to continue.

6. Fill up the Username and Password fields (refer below) and then click the Next button to continue registration: For Staff Username Password For Students Username Password

: IIUM email (without @iium.edu.my) : IIUM E-mail password

: Matric number : Pin number.

7. Wait until the system configuration is finished.

8. When the above Security Warning window pops up, click the Yes button to continue.

9. When the system has been successfully configured (see figure above), click the Connect button to connect to the IIUM-Community! wireless network.

10. Wait until the connection to IIUM-Community! have been authenticated.

11. When the above popup window appears, click the OK button.

12. Wait until the above window appears to inform you that You have been successfully connected to the network.. and click on the Close button

13. Congratulations! You are now connected to IIUM-Community! Click on the wireless icon to confirm that you are connected to IIUM-Community!
