Please read the instruction manual before using
the product for the first time- even if you are
experienced at using electronic equipment.
Please take special care when reading the
chapter "Important safety information". Keep this
instruction manual so you may use it a reference
material in the future. If you sell or give this
product to someone else it is very important to
also include this manual.

Intended use
This electronic appliance is intended for time
display and the described additional features. Any
other use or modification of the electronic
appliance does not comply with the intended
uses. The manufacturer is not liable for damages
caused by improper use or misuse. The device is
not intended for commercial use.

Important safety information


Set up the device safely
Place the device on a solid even surface.
It is not designed for operation in rooms with high
humidity (i.e. bathroom). Make sure that:
sufficient ventilation is always guaranteed
(dont place the device on shelves or where
curtains or furniture block the ventilation holes,
and ensure that there are at least 10 cm of
space on all sides);
the device isnt placed on a thick carpet or bed
during operation ;
no direct heat sources (i.e. radiators) influence
the device;
no direct sunlight reaches the device;
contact with splashing or dripping water must
be avoided (dont place any items filled with
liquids, i.e. vases, onto or next to the device);
the device doesnt stand near magnetic fields
(i.e. speakers);
candles and other open flames must be kept
away from this product at all times to prevent
the spread of fire
no foreign objects penetrate the housing.

Cleaning instructions
Clean the product with a soft, dry and lint-free
cloth. A glasses cleaning cloth is ideal.

Speed setting
When setting numerical values, press and hold
"+" or "-" to use the speed setting.

- Batteries
Insert the batteries/ rechargeable batteries in the
correct polarity. Dont try to recharge nonrechargeable batteries and under no
circumstances throw them into fire. Danger of
explosion.
Do not use unequal batteries (old and new,
Alkaline and carbon, etc.) simultaneously. If you
will not use the device for a long time, remove the
batteries and store the device in a dry and dustfree place. Improper use of batteries may cause
an explosion or leakage. If the batteries have

If the reception is not successful after 7 minutes


please move the weather station to a different
location at your site. Restart the reception by
pressing "+" and "-" together briefly. The weather
station will restart the reception attempt.
If the reception is not possible at all please set the
time manually.

Display description

While the weather station tries to receive the time


signal, it simultaneously searches for the signal
from the outside sensor and the red light on the
front of the sensor flashes.
If the transmission signal is received successfully
the current outside temperature appears on the
display of the weather station. Signal reception
and exact synchronisation with the sensor can
take up to 2 hours.

Inside Hygrometer

Your weather station measures the humidity in the


range of 25-95% relative humidity from the
outside sensor.

Manual time setting, 12/24 hour


display, day of the week language,
time zone, C/F selection
Press and hold MODE. The 12/24 hours indicator
will blink on the display.
Press "+" or "-" to select the time format and
confirm your setting by pressing MODE.
The C or F indicator will now blink on the
display. Press "+" or "-" to select the temperature
unit and confirm your setting by pressing MODE.
The time zone adjustment will now blink on the
display. The time zone adjustment can be set
when using the weather station in a different time
zone.
Set the time zone difference to your home time
zone by pressing "+" or "-". An adjustment of -2 to
+2 hours is possible. Confirm your setting by
pressing MODE.
Set the hours, minutes, year, month, day and
language of the day of the week display in the
same way.
The day of the week language abbreviations are
as follows: EN=English, GE=German,
SP=Spanish, FR=French, IT=italian.

Setup
Open the battery compartment at the back of the
weather station. Insert the batteries in the correct
polarity and close the battery compartment.
Remove the protective film from the weather
station display.
Position the station and the sensor directly next to
one another. Insert the batteries into the sensor
within the next 2 minutes.
The weather station now starts to receive the time
signal and the radio tower flashes in the display
next to the time. While receiving the signal, none
of the weather station's other functions can be
used. If signal reception is successful the weather
station's time and date are set automatically.

Setting the alarm (2 alarm times)

Weather forecast

Briefly press MODE. Now press and hold MODE.


The hour indicator of the first alarm time (A1) will
blink on the display.
Press "+" or "-" to set the hours and confirm your
setting by pressing MODE.
Set the minutes in the same way and confirm your
setting by pressing MODE.
Briefly press MODE 2x. Now press and hold
MODE.
The hours display of the second alarm time (A2)
will now blink on the display.
Press "+" or "-" to set the hours and confirm your
setting by pressing MODE.
Set the minutes in the same way and confirm your
setting by pressing MODE.
Pressing MODE allows you to switch between A1,
A2 and the normal time display.

The weather symbols show the weather tendency


(sunny, slightly cloudy, cloudy, rain, snow) for the
next hour and not the current weather.
The weather forecast is calculated by evaluating
the fluctuations in air pressure and can deviate
from actual weather changes.

Barometer
The graphical barometer display shows the air
pressure during the last 12 hours. Press and hold
HISTORY to show the air pressure in mb/hPA or
in HG. Press HISTORY briefly to show the air
pressure values for the last 12 hours. After each
press of the history button the air pressure will
advance one hour into the past. After hour 12 the
current air pressure will be shown (hour 0).

Briefly press "+" while viewing A1 or A2 to


activate or deactivate the currently viewed alarm
time.
If the alarm is activated the
symbol will appear.
The alarm will sound for 2 minutes when the set
time is reached.
The alarm can be interrupted by pressing
LIGHT/SNZ. The snooze symbol
will appear
on the display. The alarm will sound again after 5
minutes.
Press MODE to deactivate snooze and the alarm
sound.

Calibrating the barometer


The barometer can be calibrated to show the
relative air pressure at your location. The air
pressure for your location can be found on
different sites on the internet. Press and hold
MODE and HISTORY. The air pressure will blink
on the display. Now immediately press "+" or "-" to
set the air pressure. After a few seconds with no
button pressed, the set value will be saved and
the weather station will exit setting mode.

Moon phase indicator


The weather station has a moon phase indicator
which automatically displays the current moon
phase.

Maximum and minimum values


The maximum and minimum values of
temperature and hygrometer are stored
automatically.
Repeatedly press "+" to view the maximum and
minimum values. Press and hold "+" to reset the
stored values.

Selecting your location


Press CITY- the city display will blink and the
latitude and longitude will be displayed. Press "+"
or "-" to select your location. Press CITY to
confirm your selection. If the abbreviation for you
city does not appear, your location can be set
manually (See "Manually setting your location").
After a short calculation period the weather station
will show the sunrise and sunset times, the moon
phase and neap tide (TIDE LO), medium water
level (TIDE MID) or spring tide (TIDE HI).

Please position your sensor in a covered location


and make sure that the sensor does not get wet
and is not exposed to direct sunlight. To
guarantee optimal radio transmission, position the
station and sensor so that as few obstacles as
possible (walls, metallic components) interfere
with reception.
Sources of electrical interference can also be
detrimental to reception.

Manually setting your location

Temperature and frost alarms

Press and hold CITY. The cities display shows


"-- -- --". Press "+" or "-" to select the first letters
of your location. Press CITY to confirm your
selection. Set letters 2 and 3 of your location in
the same way.
On the display GMT appears and the time zone
indicator flashes. Set the difference of your time
zone to GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) by pressing
UP and DOWN (For the UK set 0:00).
Press CITY to confirm your selection. Now set the
longitude and latitude of your location in the same
way.

Setting the temperature alarm


Press "CH" to select the outdoor sensor. Press
and hold "-" to set the alarm temperature. The
outdoor temperature will blink.
Press "+" or "-" to set the maximum value for the
temperature alarm. Confirm your setting by
pressing MODE. Press "+" or "-" to set the
minimum value for the temperature alarm.
Confirm your setting by pressing MODE.
Activating/deactivating the temperature and
frost alarms
The temperature and frost alarms can be
activated or deactivated by repeatedly
pressing "-".

A table with the longitudes and latitudes for some


cities can be found at the end of these operating
instructions.

If the frost alarm is activated the


symbol will
appear next to the outdoor temperature. The
alarm will sound at the set temperature.

After a short calculation time the weather station


displays the times for sunrise and sunset and the
moon phase as well as neap tide (TIDE LO),
mean water level (TIDE MID) or spring tide (TIDE
HI).

If the temperature alarm is activated the


symbol will appear next to the outdoor
temperature. The alarm will sound at the set
temperature.
If both frost and temperature alarms are activated
then both symbols will appear.

Outdoor sensor channel selection


Press "CH" on the back side of the weather
station to select channel 1, 2 or 3. If the symbol
appears, the temperature and humidity of the
3 outdoor sensors will alternate on the display.
Press and hold "CH" to restart the outdoor
temperature and humidity reception process.

rectify all faults which are attributable to material

e.g. dropping, knocking, or water damage, there is
no warranty claim.

Disposal of the batteries


Please dispose of your batteries properly in
containers especially set up at retailers.
Batteries do not belong in household waste.
Dispose of the batteries at an approved
disposal facility or at your local recycling
centre. Contact the disposal system if in
doubt.

Informaii pentru setarea rapid


Pentru setarea numerelor valorice putei alege
setarea rapid prin apsarea i inerea apsat a
tastei "+" sau "-".

- Baterii
Introducei bateriile / acumulatoarele respectnd
permanent polaritile, nu ncercai s ncrcai
sau s deschidei bateriile. Nu aruncai n nici un
caz bateriile n foc, pericol de explozie. Nu utilizai
concomitent baterii diferite (vechi i noi, alcaline i
crbune, etc.). Dac nu utilizai aparatul pe o
perioad mai ndelungat, scoatei bateriile i
depozitai aparatul la un loc uscat i ferit de praf.

Dac procesul de recepionare a reuit, data i


ora exact ale staiei meteo se vor seta automat.

Descriere display

Dac procesul de recepionare n-a reuit n 7


minute, mutai staia meteo ntr-un alt loc i
apsai concomitent scurt tastele "+" i "-"
(WAVE). Staia meteo va ncepe o nou
iniializare a procesului de recepionare.
Dac la locul de amplasare recepionarea nu este
posibil, setai ora exact manual.

Prognoz meteo, tendina presiunii


atmosferice, grafica presiunii atmosferice n
ultimele 12 ore, afiajul numeric al presiunii
atmosferice

Ora de rsrit i ora de apus, graficul mareei


(maree nalt i maree joas), indicarea
localitii, indicarea fazelor Lunii

Afiajul senzorului exterior actual (1, 2 sau 3),


temperatura exterioar, alarma de

Staia meteo caut concomitent cu iniializarea


procesului de recepionare a semnalului DCF
semnalul senzorului exterior, iar lumina roie de
pe latura frontal a senzorului clipete.
Dac senzorul recepioneaz semnalele de la
senzor, temperatura exterioar apare pe afiajul
staiei meteo. Recepionarea semnalului i
sincronizarea exact cu senzorul poate dura pn
la 2 ore.
Dac pe afiaj apare simbolul bateriei, nlocuii
bateriile.

Higrometru interior
Staia Dvs. meteo msoar umiditatea aerului
ntr-un interval de umiditate relativ ntre 25% i
95%.

Higrometru exterior
Staie Dvs. meteo recepioneaz umiditatea
aerului de la senzorul exterior ntr-un interval de
umiditate relativ ntre 25% i 95%.

Temperatura interioar, tendina temperaturii,


umiditatea aerului interior, indicarea umiditii
aerului, indicator nivel de ncrcare a bateriei

Pe display apare clipind afiajul setrii fusului
orar.
Setarea fusului orar se folosete n cazul utilizrii
staiei meteo ntr-o zon de timp diferit celei de
acas. Potrivii diferena dintre fusul orar actual i
fusul orar de acas prin apsarea tastelor "+"
sau "-". Se poate seta o diferen de -2 pn la +2
ore.
Pentru setare apsai "+" sau "-", pentru
confirmarea setrii apsai MODE.
n acelai mod setai orele, minutele, anul, luna,
ziua i limba de afiare a zilelor sptmnii.

Punerea n funciune
Deschidei compartimentul bateriilor din spatele
aparatului. Introducei bateriile respectnd
polaritile i nchidei compartimentul bateriilor.
ndeprtai filmul de protecie de pe afiajul staiei
meteo.
Aezai staia i senzorul direct unul lng
cellalt. Introducei bateriile n cel mult 2 minute n
senzor.
Staia meteo ncepe acum s recepioneze
semnalul DCF, iar turnul DCF clipete n display
alturi de ora exact. Pe timpul iniializrii
procesului de recepionare, celelalte funciuni ale
staiei meteo nu pot fi selecionate.

corespund limbilor: EN=englez, GE=german,
SP=spaniol, FR=francez, IT=italian.

Prognoza meteo
Simbolurile meteo indic tendina vremii (nsorit,
uor nnorat, nnorat, ploaie, zpad) pentru ora
urmtoare, i nu vremea actual.
Prognoza meteo se calculeaz pe baza analizei
variaiei presiunii atmosferice i poate diferi de

Prin scurta apsare a tastei MODE putei schimba
ntre A1, A2 i afiarea obinuit a orei exacte.

Barometru
Afiajul grafic al barometrului indic presiunea
atmosferic din ultimele 12 ore. inei apsat
HISTORY pentru a afia presiunea atmosferic n
mb/hPa sau inHG. Prin apsarea scurt a tastei
HISTORY putei afia separat valorile presiunii
atmosferice ale ultimilor 12 ore. La fiecare
apsare pe tasta HISTORY afiajul schimb
valoarea indicat la cea msurat cu o or
nainte. Dup a 12 or va fi afiat din nou
presiunea atmosferic actual (ora 0).

Activarea alarmei detepttoare i a


funciei de aipire
Dac v aflai n modul A1 sau A2 apsai scurt
"+" pentru activarea/dezactivarea alarmei
respective.
Dac funcia de alarm este activat, pe display

Calibrarea barometrului

apare .
La ora exact pentru care alarma este setat se
declaneaz alarma sonor pentru 2 minute.
Alarma sonor se ntrerupe prin apsarea
LIGHT/SNZ, iar pe afiaj ncepe s clipeasc
simbolul funciei de aipire
. Alarma se
declaneaz din nou dup 5 minute.
Funcia de aipire i alarma pot fi dezactivate prin
apsarea tastei MODE.

Afiare fazele Lunii

Barometrul poate fi calibrat pentru a egala


presiunea atmosferic indicat cu presiunea
atmosferic relativ corespunztoare localitii
Dvs. Presiunea atmosferic a localitii Dvs. o
putei afla pe diverse site-uri pe internet. Apsai
i inei apsat MODE i HISTORY. Pe display
clipete presiunea atmosferic. Apsai imediat
"+" sau "-" pentru reglarea presiunii atmosferice.
Dup cteva secunde fr apsarea tastelor
reglarea se ncheie i valoarea setat va fi
salvat.

Staia meteo este dotat cu un afiaj pentru fazele


Lunii, care indic n mod automat fazele lunii.

Valori maxime i minime


Valorile maxime i minime de temperatur i
higrometrice vor fi automat salvate.
Apsai repetat "+" pentru afiarea valorilor
maxime i minime. Apsai, i inei apsat "+"
pentru tergerea valorilor maxime i minime.

Informaii suplimentare privind


senzorul exterior

Apsai CITY, afiajul oraului clipete, iar datele


de longitudine i latitudine vor fi indicate. Pentru
selectarea localitii Dvs. apsai "+" sau
"-". Pentru confirmare apsai CITY. Dac
prescurtarea oraului Dvs. nu apare, putei defini
manual o localitate (vezi setarea manual a
localitii Dvs.).
Staia meteo indic dup scurt timp orele de
rsrit i apus, fazele Lunii, precum i mareea
joas (TIDE LO), nivelul mijlociu al apei (TIDE
MID) sau mareea nalt (TIDE HI).

Aezai senzorul ntr-un loc acoperit i asiguraiv s fie protejat de umezeal i de razele directe
ale soarelui. Pentru a garanta o transmisie
optimal, poziionai staia i senzorul n aa fel,
nct s evitai pe ct posibil obstacolele (ziduri,
elemente metalice de construcie) care mpiedic
recepia. Surse de bruiaj electric pot afecta
recepia.

Apsai mai nti "CH" pentru selectarea
senzorului exterior.
Apsai i inei apsat "-" pentru reglarea
temperaturii exterioare. Temperatura exterioar
clipete.
Pentru a regla valoarea maxim pentru alarma de
temperatur apsai "+" sau "-". Confirmai
alegerea Dvs. prin apsarea tastei MODE. Pentru
a regla valoarea minim pentru alarma de
temperatur apsai "+" sau "-".
Confirmai alegerea Dvs. prin apsarea tastei
MODE.

Apsai i inei apsat CITY. Pe indicatorul


oraului apare "-- -- --". Apsai pentru a selecta
prima liter a localitii Dvs. Apsai CITY pentru
a confirma selectarea. n acelai mod setai
literele 2 i 3 ale localitii Dvs.
Pe display apare GMT i indicatorul fusului orar
clipete. Reglai diferena dintre fusul orar al
localitii Dvs. i GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)
prin apsarea "+" sau "-" (pentru Romnia setai
2:00).
Apsai CITY pentru a confirma selectarea. Setai
n acelai mod latitudinea i longitudinea pentru
localitatea Dvs.

Activarea/dezactivarea alarmei de temperatur


i a celei de nghe
Prin apsarea tastei "-" putei activa sau dezactiva
alarma de temperatur i alarma de nghe pentru
toate canalele.
n cazul activrii alarmei de nghe apare
lng indicatorul temperaturii exterioare. Alarma
se declaneaz la temperatura setat.

La sfritul acestor indicaii de utilizare vei gsi o


list cu orae mpreun cu datele de latitudine i
longitudine.

va fi afiat consecutiv temperatura
simbolului
i umiditatea aerului ale celor 3 canale.

semnalul temperaturii exterioare/ higrometrului
exterior.

Predai aparatul la un centru nregistrat
pentru colectarea deeurilor sau la
autoritile comunale pentru eliminarea

Aruncai bateriile uzate numai n locuri
special amenajate n comer. Nu aruncai
bateriile uzate n gunoiul menajer. Predai
bateriile la un centru nregistrat pentru
colectarea deeurilor sau la autoritile
comunale pentru eliminarea deeurilor.
Respectai regulamentele n vigoare. n caz
de dubiu contactai autoritile locale de
salubritate.

Pentru acest articol acordm o garanie de 3 ani.


Garania e valabil ncepnd cu ziua vnzrii
(bonul, chitana de cumprare). Pe aceasta
durat remediem gratuit toate defectele, care sunt
reconduse pe greeli de material sau de
producie. Pentru deteriorri, cauzate prin
ntrebuinare incorect ca de ex. prin cdere,
lovitur sau ap, nu poate fi pretins nicio
