IX562 UNIT 4 DISCUSSION 1 Storyboarding Your principal has explained that she does not understand how storyboards are used when designing classroom lessons. Offer your principal an example by creating a draft storyboard template for an existing lesson (Lever-Duffy & McDonald, 2011, Chapter 6-10).

My example lesson follows: I added in sections that the teacher did not have in her lesson (warm- up, vocabulary and conclusion). I made suggestions about websites and tools that could be used by the students in an effort to assist them gain a clearer comprehension of the concept/s being taught and assist them in their use and understanding of technology and technological devices.

Students complete a computer assignment related to the content of the day in order to practice what they have learned. Calculators may be used by the students to increase speed in the solution process.

Conclusion

Students complete an exit ticket on the computer giving the teacher immediate feedback about class and student comprehension of the lesson presented.
