Halliday Research Outline

Who: In this study I will be observing the behavior and food choices of people that frequent On-The-Go and those who frequent dining courts.

Location: These observations will take place mainly in Earharts On-The-Go and Hillenbrand, Wiley, Windsor, and Earhart Dining Courts. Earharts On-The-Go was chosen because I visit it every morning. These dining courts were chosen because these are the places I usually eat in.

Time of Observation: The Earhart On-The-Go will be observed Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday from 9:45-10:00 am. It will be observed Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:45-11:00 am. The dining courts will be observed within the range of 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm every day.

What I Will Be Observing: I will be observing the food items that people choose at each location. What items does each group tend to favor? What items do both groups have in common? What major items are different within each group?

Included: At least 4 interviews with people that go to On-The-Go. Several pictures (location and people)

Observation Period: Monday October 14th dinner to Saturday October 19th Dinner.
