Higher Units Mission: 4th Brigade, the All American Brigade, conducts annual safety and training briefs NLT 1730Thursday10OCT2013 IOT ensure all cadets are properly prepared for Fall Break. b. Higher Unit Intent: Incorporate Troop Leading Procedures in all training events, reinforce that leader competencies are associated with each step and provide all cadets with knowledge of basic soldier skills. c. Right Unit Mission- UNC Charlotte conducts preparation operations for German Military Proficiency Badge. d. Left Unit Mission- UNCC conducts a joint field training operation with Duke University IOT prepare MSIIIs to Warrior Forge E- Detachments: No Fear BN Cadets departing for Fall Break 2. Mission A- The No Fear Battalion conducts physical training, special teams lab, POV inspections, Trips Reports, and Safety Brief Operations from 4OCT2013-10OCT2013 in vicinity of Wake Forest University and Winston Salem State University Campuses IOT ensure all cadets are properly prepared and alerted to the standards expected of all No Fear BN Cadets. 3. Execution a. Commanders Intent: All cadets complete Trips Reports and receive a safety brief from BN XO in preparation for cadets departing for fall break. i. Key Tasks 1. Ensure all cadets leaving for fall break have completed trips reports and vehicle inspections through their MSIV Mentor Group Leader 2. Ensure all cadets attend all PT sessions and Leadership Labs, unless otherwise excused. 3. Those needing remedial PT will attend. The standards are as follows: Is and IIs scoring below a 210 on the APFT and IIIs scoring below a 260 are required to attend remedial Physical Training, which occurs every Tuesday and Thursday at 0600. ii. End state: Success is defined as making all movement SP times, 100% accountability of Cadets at all times and all key task are complete in NLT 1730Thursday10OCT2013. b. Concept of Operations i. Phase I: PT and Orders Process 1. The purpose of this phase is to disseminate the OPORD IOT ensure an efficient flow of information. 2. This phase begins directly after the AAR on Thursday3OCT2013 and will end with first formation Wednesday9OCT2013. ii. Phase II: Leadership Lab and Safety Brief 2

OPORD: Week of Friday 4OCT2013- Thursday 10OCT2013 (Fall Break) 1. The purpose of this phase is to demonstrate basic soldier skills to all MS Classes 2. This phase begins directly after first formation Wednesday9OCT2013 and ends with the AAR immediately following Lab on Thursday 10OCT2013 c. Scheme of Maneuver i. Phase I (PT and Orders Process): Phase 1 begins with the CO issuing OPORDs to PLs and PSGs on Friday after PT. After this the CO will ensure their PLs/PSGs are coordinating with their respective Commandants and that SL OPORDs will be issued NLT 2000Monday7OCT2013. During this phase cadets will follow prior leaderships plan to complete activities for Saturday. Combined PT will occur at WSSU 0600Monday7OCT2013. Cadets arriving past 0550 will be considered late. PT will be led by both PSGs using their cadre approved PT plans. On 0600Tuesday8OCT2013, CDTs required to attend remedial PT will meet at Coltrane located on WSSU Campus. This phase will end with first formation Wednesday morning. ii. Phase II (Leadership Lab and Safety Brief): Phase 2 begins with first formation on Wednesday9OCT2013. On Wednesday PT will occur at 0600 for WSSU and 0630 for WFU. Cadets arriving past 7 minutes prior will be considered late. Leadership Lab will occur 1430Thursday10OCT2013 at the ROTC department. During this lab cadets will receive instruction on Grenades, Claymores, Reporting, and Special Teams required for STX lanes. Cadets should reference FM 23-23 prior to leadership lab on Thursday for information regarding the claymore. For information regarding reporting, cadets should either reference their TACSOP or Black and Gold Book. Prior to the completion of this phase, cadets should complete all information and reports with their respected mentor groups concerning Fall Break. Company leadership needs to ensure this is accomplished. d. Task to Subordinate Units i. A Company Leadership will provide a spreadsheet list to BN XO Gray NLT 1200Firday5OCT2013 detailing all cadets leaving for Fall Break. A Company Leadership will ensure that all cadets have completed all tasks prior to leaving for fall break with their respected mentor groups. Company Leadership is required to provide water on all training events in coordination with the S-4 Shop. ii. B Company Leadership will ensure that all cadets have uniform for all training events. Bravo Company leadership will provide a list of all cadets who are hoping to contract to the BN XO NLT 21005OCT2013. e. Coordinating Instructions i. Uniform for PT: IPFU [shorts, shirt, reflector belt] 3

Company Leadership will submit list of CDTs leaving for fall break to BN XO Gray NLT 1200Friday5OCT2013 iv. Timeline: 1. 0600Friday4OCT2013- PT WSSU, Coltrane 2. 0630Friday4OCT2013- PT WFU, Kentner 3. 1300Saturday6OCT2013- Family Weekend Tailgate 4. 0600Monday7OCT2013- Combined PT WSSU, Coltrane 5. 0600Wednesday9OCT2013- PT WSSU, Coltrane 6. 0630Wednesday9OCT2013-PT WFU, Kentner 7. Thursday10OCT2013- Hit the Bricks, WFU 8. 1430Thursday10OCT2013-Leadership Lab 4. Sustainment a. Material and Services i. Class I: Water will be provided on all training sites by Company Leadership in coordination with S-4 Shop ii. Class II-IX: N/A b. Transportation: Cadets will travel to PT and Lab via POV in coordination with S-1 c. Services: N/A d. Health Systems Support: Medical emergencies will be referred to C/OIC or OIC of all training events. CDTs Gray, Hatfield, Beamon and Ross are EMT certified. 5. Command and Control a. Command i.
