I introduced SOL 1.2 on the playground. I had my students explore and investigate different types of pushes and pulls. We also explored different straight, circular, and back and forth movements. The students were able to identify with a concrete example making the transition to abstract thinking in the classroom. Through discovery learning, the students were able to describe and identify different types of movements and how we use pushes and pulls to change those movements. Follow Up Activities
