Top Story: The Heidelberg women host the Blue Streaks of John Carroll University in midweek OAC action. Heidelberg enters tonights contest 6-1 overall as the Blue Streaks travel to Tin unbeaten at 5-0. Scouting JCU: John Carroll is coming o of a big win over the defending OAC champion Polar Bears of ONU. The Blue Streaks are led oensively by Melissa Spahars 130 points. The senior forward has collected 14 steals, 47 rebounds and 15 assists while shooting .598 from the oor and .867 from the free throw line. The Blue Streaks have beaten their opponents this season by an average of nearly 20 points per contest. Scouting the Berg: Heidelberg is currently .500 in the OAC with a loss to Capital and a crucial victory at Mount Union.

The Student Princes are guided by standout senior guard Kathleen Phillips who leads the OAC with 158 points this season. Phillips leads the team in steals with 19 and assists with 23, while shooting .857 from the charity stripe and .453 from the oor. Currently, freshman Carli Patrick is fourth in the OAC in total points with 111 through seven games. The freshman is averaging 15.9 points per game and has collected 41 rebounds, ve assists, three blocks and three steals o of the bench.
