In traditional higher edu students nd themselves yet again in a world where independent thinking is not encouraged.! ! ! What it does: Explains to us a problem; one that develops in higher edu , and how some educators do not x this and by the time one is in higher education one is feed up and thinks learning isn't necessary its all repetition.! ! ! What it says: Students cannot become critical thinkers overnight, they must rst learn to embrace the joy and power of thinking itself. (Engaged pedagogy is a teaching strategy to enable students to think critically restoring this ability)! ! ! What it does: Illustrates that critical thinking isn't something you can develop quickly, also how their is a technique called engaged pedagogy which helps to restore students ability to use critical thinking.! Gives a larger concept of critical thinking by two different perspectives explaining it in different matters.!
