the problems are correct.

The assessments for this lesson will allow me to see where each student stands with prior knowledge and where they are once the lesson is completed. The pre assessment for this lesson will be in the form of a checklist. The post assessment will evaluated with the use of a checklist as well. The pre assessment for this lesson requires the students to use two sets of manipulatives, each representing a set of ten. The children will have to show how to represent the problem using the manipulatives provided. While the children are completing this activity, it will allow me to see if they understand how to group doubles. The during assessment will involve the student completing problems from the worksheet. As the students come up to the board to write their answers, I will check to see if they are correct and if they are grasping the idea of adding

doubles. The post assessment will be the worksheet that they turn in. I will check off the answers they got right and the ones that they got wrong. This way I will be able to see if they understood the concept that was taught for this lesson. The assessment data results will determine if the children are able to fluently add and subtract within 20 in the future grades ahead.
