We are going to go fishing for fish, berries, veggies, nuts

Children will be able to identify different foods forest animals eat large muscle activity Children will let their creative juices flow when we sing and dance Children will gain self-esteem and positive relationships with peers
Questions to ask:

Is this a fruit, vegetable, protein or nut? Who do you think eats this? How do you think a ____ might move? How can I move to look like a ______?

I will point out how creative they are being in their movements and encourage them to do the same with their friends.
Procedure: Materials Needed:

Gather items for fishing.poles, fish, berries, veggies and nuts. We get together for circle and do the daily basics. Talk about how animals dont use fishing poles but use their hands or feet instead. Allow the children to choose, whether they want to use their hands or feet or use fishing poles
