Bobko-1 Zachary Bobko Mr.

Jones English Language 1-2 H 10/24/13 Iraqi Oppression Inside the country of Iraq there have been over a hundred thousand of deaths of American and Iraqi in Iraq. The deaths are caused by firefights and suicide claiming the lives of innocents and soldiers. This increases the sadness of army relatives and spouses when their loved ones die. The army should evacuate Iraq as fast as they can for four large reasons. There are innocent deaths, lost family members, mental trauma and riots being caused by America being in Iraq. These are worsening relation with the government daily which is causing them to hate America more and more.

Tens of thousands of men, woman and children have died because of this. The firefights and suicide bombings cause people to lose brother, sister, mother, fathers. People continue to die on a daily basis from Americans and terrorists. The deaths are increasing the longer the Americans stay in Iraq which angers more and more people. Soldiers die and cause their loved ones to suffer even though they were just following orders. When people lose their closest of family members in fights it harms them more than any physical injury. When a family loses a member it usually horrifies them causing them to fall into disarray.

People in Iraq lose their closest friends to these acts of terrorism. The bombings and the ambushes caused by terrorists in public cause lots of unnecessary bloodshed. This harms the way

Bobko-2 the civilians think toward their government causing riots and it also changes what they think about the U.S Army maybe causing them to join in these types of attacks to kill the so called intruder on their land. In Iraq many people lose their loved one in suicide attacks and ambushes they may even watch their closest friends and family die causing severe mental trauma that may affect them in the future and cause post traumatic stress disorder. If they get this disorder it causes them to remember their horrifying as if it were etched into their brain.

The mental health of each individual is worsened when they see other human beings dying. If there are multiple suicide bombings throughout Iraq it must be affecting the mental health of the survivors from being exposed suddenly to death. In Iraq there are children that are affected by post traumatic stress disorder PTSD seems to affect 21 of 225 boys 9% and 63 of 375 girls 17%. This stress disorder causes horrible flashbacks and possibly leads to insanity. The civilians of Iraq have seen friends, parents, siblings and relatives being killed. The mental health of children has been slowly declining ever since the gulf war from the violence of death. The children in Iraq have seen gruesome images in the Gulf War and continue to see it from suicide bombings, firefights and accidently setting of I.E.Ds. This is causing large property damage and the civilians probably blame the U.S Army for not preventing these incidents

One of the largest problems with Americans in Iraq is the riots. The riots cause damage to local structures and to other human beings. The riots are claiming the lives of people but not nearly as much as the suicide bombings which can cause some serious injuries but it can still kill people. Dozens of people have died due to bombings of buildings. The results of these riots cause property damage, physical damage and mental damage to those that were involved

Bobko-3 accidently or on purpose. There are more frequent riots in Iraq that have been happening due to the civilians thinking that the Americans are intruding in their country.

To summarize it seems that the occupation of Iraq by the U.S Army seems to make the civilians angry. There are a lot of unnecessary deaths that happen due to firefights with the U.S Army and suicide bombings aimed at American structures. The oppression that is caused by the U.S army is causing more and more Iraqis to hate America and more join the riots. People in Iraq are losing their loved ones in these small battles. The longer we stay in Iraq the larger the chance we have of war and if not war a major rebellion that causes more deaths of civilians, army members and cause more unnecessary bloodshed this may even cause another Gulf War in Iraq except there will be civilians involved in the fight. The fact that we continue to stay inside Iraq even after weve been asked not to by their government officials is causing relations between the two countries to fail.
