MADIBA (1918-2013)

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world Nelson Mandela

Its a sad & an irreplaceable loss to humanity. The loss of the Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, the father of the new South Africa & the great anti-apartheid leader the modern world has known. I usually do not write about people or celebrities, but exceptional human beings deserve more. Here, Im talking about an inspirational soul like no other. Madiba (meaning Father), affectionately called by his nation was the only modern leader who fought against & was successfully able to beat racism & apartheid out of his country like no other. His rules, dignity & the lessons of love he preached are purely unmatched. When freed from imprisonment after 27 years, Madiba showed his devotion to his country & his people by bringing up a government who displayed how a nation should unite under one flag.

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.

I have not read or seen too much of him, but out of all I remember, I can recall that whenever he appeared on the Television with some other leaders or with some prominent personality, he stood out like no other. His dignity & his amazing presence could be felt even through the TV screens. And more often, his commanding presence made the other person go unnoticed. Such was his powerful, humble & captivating presence. He is held in great respect by leaders, scholars & everyone who respects truth, love & equality.

Also the winner of the coveted Nobel Peace Prize in 1993, the whole world recognizes & respects his contribution to the modern world. His exemplary governance & display of love & harmony are an example for all to follow in the difficult times of today. I personally feel that all the leaders today need to take a leaf out of his political life to be a better leader.
